MEET OUR NEW HORSES
SMOKE AND FIRE!
On March 31, 2005 Everette was leaving for work when he found
two horses in the street in front of our house. He caught them and put them
in the front paddock so if the owner came by they would see
them there. ( We are sad to report that Smoke left this world in November
2005, she was 23 years old.)
Later, the owner did come by and asked me if we wanted two more horses!
I said, "Yes, if they are free!" with a grin. She said, "OK, I
will be back with paperwork." And, the next day she came over with a
bill of sale and a pile of tack. It seems their family just didn't have
time for the horses any more. So, we now have two more horses!

This is Fire, she is a senior mare, welsh and arabian. She is broke
to ride and in very good shape. (Fire's previous owner missed her so
much she asked for her to return home. So, Fire now lives down the street
again.)
This is Smoke, she is a senior mare, registered appaloosa. And a kind soul.
Here are more photos.
Smoke and Fire will be available for use of our horse campers. Please
contact us for details.
